unsaturated polyester paint is the recent rapid development of a kind of coating, divided into unsaturated polyester and curing radiation ( light curing of unsaturated polyester two categories ). the main advantages of can be made without solvent coating, a coating can be thicker film, coating temperature requirements is not high, but the film decorative effect is good, paint film is tough and wear-resistant, easy maintenance. drawback is that when cured film greater shrinkage, adhesion on substrate prone to problems, unsaturated polyester generally need polishing, procedures more cumbersome, radiation curing of unsaturated polyester coating equipment requirements higher, not suitable for small scale production. unsaturated polyester paint mainly used for furniture, wooden floor, metal corrosion etc.. 不饱和聚酯漆也是近来发展较快的一类涂料，分为气干性不饱和聚酯和辐射固化（光固化）不饱和聚酯两大类。主要优点是可以制成无溶剂涂料，一次涂刷可以得到较厚的漆膜，对涂装温度的要求不高，而且漆膜装饰作用良好，漆膜坚韧耐磨，易于保养。缺点是固化时漆膜收缩率较大，对基材的附着力容易出现问题，气干性不饱和聚酯一般需要抛光处理，手续较为烦琐，辐射固化不饱和聚酯对涂装设备的要求较高，不适合于小型生产。不饱和聚酯漆主要用于家具、木制地板、金属防腐等方面。
